Love Medium, but it needs some help

My chief complaint is that the app wont allow me to edit my publication. Thats a major pain in the bum, as I do a majority of reading & writing on the app. I also have run into a number of complications with adding embeds to stories; I have not once successfully done that. I am techno-stupid, without question, and the app and site are probably as user-friendly as anyone can make it, at this point. But again: chief complaint? No editing feature on the app for pubs.
