Pros and cons of Medium: Read & Write Stories app for iPhone and iPad

Medium: Read & Write Stories app good for

I read it everyday. It is a great place to keep up wit the amount of things going on. The app is cool and friendly.
I like to read all the ideas others wrote! Always interesting to see different thinking...the world becomes closer than ever!
Amazing app! Full of interesting , motivational and inspiring content. I found the right place to right my own ideas and share them with the world.
When I first discovered Medium from an article about making ideas happen, I really liked the setup and everything about the app. And suddenly found myself downloading it on my iPad and created my account. Then started finding numerous articles on topics that are of interest to me, learned a lot and thought about at least 5 essays/articles to write about what the subjects I want to cover/talk about. And in result, I would like to say that I really feel in love with all Medium has to offer me with what Ive been wanting to do for a while now. Now that I have a keyboard for my iPad, I believe I have more than enough power to start writing what I think, believe, experience, learned, and much more. Ive always wanted to blog, and share my stories, what Ive learned and such with the online world but only found Happier: an online gratitude journal with positive happy posts (also referred to as "happy moments" which have been a great help and impact on me and my life. But discovering Medium has increased and given me the chance to start working on many projects that Ive been meaning to start. Just needed something like this to start creating them. So thank you!
In a tech world where we are overloaded with apps, emails, upgrades etc., I have to constantly go through my list of downloads and pare it to a manageable level. Somehow Medium manages to stay on the list. I dont use it everyday but I do enjoy it whenever I do.
A collection of the best stories about the subjects you like And one last thing... Its insanely great!

Some bad moments

I dont want to turn on push notifications not not, not later. Stop asking every single time when I open the app. Give me the option in the settings to turn the prompt off completely.
Why can I only select a single paragraph in the draft editor of my content? No doubt theres some reasonable technical argument for this that engineering makes every time the product team brings it up. In practice, the result is the 500 word draft with a list in the middle will take me 10 minutes to copy/paste out of the Medium app into Editorial. Please dont make me feel stupid.
Immense lagging issues. Crashes frequently. Articles that load fine and quick on my default Safari browser take this app forever. The only thing the app doesnt fail at is showing me my profile page and my posts. But I want it to let me read other peoples posts.
Shorter, user friendly urls for articles please. And get rid of the session variables or whatever that is in your URLs. Will update to 5 stars once done.
It presents a black screen then it crashes. Im using an iPad 2 with iOS 8.3.
